On a motorcycle
Your ride records even with the phone in your pocket. Through your headset, a voice tells you where to turn.
Hairpin records your rides, takes you to the roads worth the trip and keeps your garage in order. On a motorcycle or in a car.
Mountain passes, hairpin bends, winding back roads: Hairpin is for people who go there on purpose, alone or with friends. Two wheels or four, same app, same crew.

Your ride records even with the phone in your pocket. Through your headset, a voice tells you where to turn.

Due dates, services and running costs for the car, all in the garage. On the road, the same map as your crew.
These are the app's own screens: they switch between day and night, just like on your phone.

Weather until sunset, today's vehicle and who in your crew is already out. One tap on Go and the ride starts recording.

Passes, bends and viewpoints marked, your crew live and upcoming events. At sunset the map switches to night on its own.

Distance, time and average speed you can read at a glance. Pause and Finish are two wide buttons, well away from everything else.

Turn-by-turn voice directions. The voice turns your music down and stays quiet during calls.

Insurance, inspection and services remind you before they're due. Mileage, costs and documents for every vehicle, all in one place.

The route, the numbers and the stops of every outing. Replay it, or save it as a route to ride again with someone.
A crew is your road group: who organizes, who's coming, who's already on the way.

What people ask before installing it.
Yes. Garage, rides, map and events work the same on a motorcycle and in a car, and one crew has room for both.
For now, Hairpin installs from the file you download from this site. The first time, Android asks for permission to install apps from this source. Small updates arrive on their own inside the app; for big ones, download the file again from here.
Nothing: Hairpin is free.
The iPhone version is in the works. When it's ready, you'll find it on this page.
You decide in “Who sees you”, always choosing for how long: nobody, only your crew, only the people on the grid with you, or everyone. Live tracks fade after 24 hours and, if you turn on the shelter, you disappear from the map within 500 meters of home.
Rides record without a signal and save as soon as it's back. You can download a region's map before you set off.
